I so enjoyed painting "The Rehearsal Room" that this piece became the first in my 'dance rehearsal' series that includes "Rehearsal in Lime," "Rehearsal with Black Fan" and the soon to be finished "Rehearsal with Red Fan." These pieces were inspired by my photographic study of a ballet studio rehearsal of flamenco dance. A related piece "Rehearsal with Masque," while not in this series, was also inspired by a dance rehearsal.

The original is oil on linen and the canvas measures 9x12, framed in black. The original is no longer available as it has been acquired by a private collector.
